We are currently seeking individuals to be Home Improvement Assemblers for Home Improvement Stores all across the country.

The Home Improvement Assembler is contracted to assemble various products as requested in Home Improvement Stores.

Home Improvement Assembler will:

·         Maintain client objectives by ensuring all authorized client items are assembled to specifications

·          

·         Increase sales volume through gaining incremental assembly work

·          

·         Ensure store call information is accurate and provided daily for proper piece rate payment

·          

·         Provide timely feedback and suggested solutions on Market issues to your direct report

·          

·         Maintain store coverage as assigned by your direct report

·          

·         Must be proactive in alerting Management of any unsafe act or condition to prevent injuries

·          

Home Improvement Assembler Qualifications:

·         High School Diploma or equivalent job-related experience

·          

·         Previous retail assembler experience preferred

·          

·         Demonstrates skills and behaviors pertaining to Achieving Results, Initiative, Assembling product

·          

·         A dynamic, upbeat salesperson that exudes high energy and execution excellence

·          

·         Strong self-management skills

·          

·         Ability to work full-time or part-time retail schedule, Monday through Sunday

·          

·         Ability to stand, walk, bend and/or stoop, crawl and/or climb, kneel, push, pull, operate mechanical machinery. Use feet and/or legs for repetitive motion left right simple grasping (pushing pulling arm controls), fine manipulation

·          

·         Daily access to a PC computer with internet/email access

Job Duties:

Retail Grocery Store #3519. Courtesy Clerk- As a key contact for Safeway, Inc. customers, provides friendly, courteous and helpful service. The primary function of this position is to bag and carry out groceries for customers. Also performs cleaning duties throughout the store as assigned. Works with checker to bag groceries, using either plastic or paper bags at customers request. Obtains bags and paper towels and supplies these to check stands as needed. Checks prices for other employees and customers as requested. Periodically patrols parking lot and inside areas of the store for shopping carts. Transports these shopping carts to the appropriate area within the store. Takes damaged or unwanted goods from check stand replaces them on shelves or in storage area as appropriate. Performs cleaning as assigned by the store manager including scrubbing baking pans, pots, utensils, counters, shelves and equipment. Cleans employee lunch areas and restrooms. Cleans spills on the sales floor, as needed using either mop or broom and may mop floor in various departments. Picks up litter and clears walk ways outside the store.
